Updates: Friday February 2nd 2007
Finally a few updates!
Jacqueline Carey just posted the final cover art for part II of Imriel's story.
Maybe you've seen it on Amazon already. I've saved it and put it in the Bookcovers section. There was an earlier version released fall 2006, similar but different from the final one. I'm quite lucky I saved it back then.
Last year there were also some real plans for a new Jacqueline Carey fansite. More of a corporation between three JC-site webmistresses. House Montreve was about to go offline, but it's still online, which means there's no new fansite yet. I'm not sure if we're actually going to get back to it, but you never know. I just wanted to let you know.
Haven't done any other serious updates yet, but hopefull I'll stay motivated. I'm looking forward(just like the rest of the fans) to Kushiel's Justice!

Wednesday May 24th - Just a small update for May :)
Jacqueline Carey has updated her website again. She reports that Publishers Weekly gave her new book (Kushiel's Scion) a starred review, calling it "Credible and gripping, this is heroic fantasy at its finest".
So that's very promising! I'm looking forward to it, June is finally in sight, and I'm hoping to buy a copy from the American Bookstore in Rotterdam or Amsterdam. But since I'm in the South West I probably have to order it online....
Anyway, we also have to keep an eye on this page. Jacqueline writes: "I'll be contributing an essay about the joys and challenges of continuing Imriel's story, and there will be a Q&A to follow, with a book giveaway in the next month"
I'll try to update again when her book comes out. If you want to review it, you can also send it to me and I'll place a link (or the review itsself)on my site!


Thursday February 9th - I have neglected my Kushiel fansite a little, I must admit that...
But as always, I've been quite busy with a lot of other things! I did do some updates: I added some usefull information about the Cassiline weapons which I received from McGiro(??), and Max helped me out with background info on Khebbel-Im-Akkad, Saba and Drujan. Thanks!
